this summer i went fishing on gville with a friend. we fished sloughs and short creek right off the channel. anyway we were bass fishing two different times. one time i was fishing with night crawlers and caught 2 of these fish. then the another time off a crank bait. so, these fish were a grayish brown color. kinda had the lips of a carp. anyone know what this might be?

I caught one in a tourney last year on the Big G. I caught a 5lber on a jig the week before in the same place. That 7-8lb drum about gave me a heart attack!

id definitely give me one. that thing was huge.

White drum. Our place on the Mulberry is covered up with them. Fillets are white and flaky. Cut up in chunks and covered with batter they taste just like bass if you drink enough beer with them.

I wonder ifn your Mulberry Place is anywhere near my buddy's Mulberry Place..... You behind the quarry right there at the Blount Springs/Garden City exit?
