I have always mounted a quiver mount to the right side of my stands. Easy access and out of the way. In my opinion the best option.
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

I hang mine on a limb, bow hanger, wedge it in my stand or hook it to my backpack. Just anywhere to get it out of my way. I don't have any one particular place for it. This.

I've used a Kwikee quiver for a long time. I've got a bow mount screwed into the front rail of my summit climber. Bow is held in a third hand holder and the spare arrows are horizontal, right in front of me. It's payed off a couple of times.

I have always purchased an extra mount for whatever quiver I've used, and mounted it to my climber.
I just got a new bow and switched to a Treelimb quiver, the mount doesn't really fit anywhere good (at least not to provide the right angle), so I use the screw-in hook on the tree. I typically mount it on my left-arm side of tree, about waist high when I stand.

Slip my pull up rope through my quiver and tie to the tree about a foot or two above my head. Real easy to turn and pull an arrow from the quiver if needed.

Heck I guess I am the exception ...I leave mine attached to my bow ....that the way I practice so that's the way I hunt.
