Ok so I have to do a group project in one of my speech classes in which we have to start a company. I came up with the idea of starting a wild game restaurant. One of the sections is products and services. In this section we have to describe the products offered, techniques, equipment and so forth. Whats some of yells opinions for this section? Products would be diff types of wild game like whitetail deer, dove, duck, turkey, frog legs, etc. I wasn't as sure about the techniques part as to how the company would acquire these diff wild game meats. I was thinking like working with hunters, wildlife management areas, etc? Is there any wildgame suppliers? What do yall think? Thanks in advance for any input

In order to meet health code and gov't approval, you would have to have the meat come from approved facilities. The reason that there aren't many of these restaurants, is that by the time you raise deer and other game in a pen and do all the gov't run around, the cost of the meat is insanely expensive.

How long does the speech have to be? The overall length will determine the amount of detail you want to go into.

If you professor a liberal that thinks hunting is barbaric = you will start with 15pts off. Just saying.

Make a project that your prof will like. Play the game'

I would consider making prosthetic body parts from 3D printers.
Or casts. You could set up a 360° camera that would fit the product perfectly to the persons limb.

You could make a cast that is UV curable. Then the doc put the cast on the patient, molds it a little, and the hits it with a US light to set it in place. If you make it with holes in it the person could shower.

3D printed housing. Develop a fast drying, high fiber concrete. Probably only work for single story homes.

Build a machine that would rip up and lay down a section of road. Maybe make it 3 lanes wide. Of you can hook multiple machines together to go from 1 to 4 lanes.

If you prof is into hunting, etc. Start a business that makes high powered big game air rifles. 30-50 cal.

Develop a company that invents a better non-lethal way to incapacitate criminals for police.

Lithium recovery company. lots of new lithium batteries

Man I appreciate the feedback fellas. I don't think the professor cares too much lol. One person said they were doing theirs on "light sabers" or some crap so doesn't have to be completely realistic to a t. So I would say not a great amount of detail or reality has to go into it. This part was just one section I think I have the others down.

Google wild game suppliers for deer and elk, The atmosphere and the location will constitute higher prices to offset.

You could propose to run a brothel in Phil Campbell, Alabama.

Yep, the meat would have to go through an inspected facility in order to meet health requirements for serving it to the public. So even the wild game ends up being farm raised so they can load them in trailers and take them to a USDA approved slaughterhouse.

I've done this in college and in the real world. Your first step is to write a business plan. Keep it relatively simple depending on time allowed for speech. Speech will be vases of the highlights of the business plan. Here is the outline I typically use.

Detailed business plan outline:

1.0 Executive Summary

1.1 Problem
1.2 Solution
1.3 Market
1.4 Competition
1.5 Financial Highlights

2.0 Products and Services

2.1 Problem Worth Solving
2.2 Our Solution
2.3 Validation of Problem and Solution
2.4 Roadmap/Future Plans

3.0 Market Analysis Summary

3.1 Market Segmentation
3.2 Target Market Segment Strategy
3.2.1 Market Needs
3.2.2 Market Trends
3.2.3 Market Growth
3.3 Key Customers
3.4 Future Markets
3.5 Competition
3.5.1 Competitors and Alternatives
3.5.2 Our Advantages (see an example)

4.0 Strategy and Implementation Summary

4.1 Marketing Plan
4.2 Sales Plan
4.3 Location and Facilities
4.4 Technology
4.5 Equipment and Tools
4.6 Milestones
4.7 Key Metrics

5.0 Company and Management Summary

5.1 Organizational Structure
5.2 Management Team
5.3 Management Team Gaps
5.4 Personnel Plan
5.5 Company History and Ownership

6.0 Financial Plan

6.1 Revenue/Sales Forecast
6.2 Expenses
6.3 Projected Profit and Loss
6.4 Projected Cash Flow
6.5 Projected Balance Sheet
6.7 Business Ratios

Make sure you everyone speaks roughly the same amount of time. I had issues with this because public speaking is my thing. Bigger the crowd the better, lol. Pm me if you need additional help.
