But as soon as the police have to shoot the thieving perp, that same sorry, BLM pos will protest the police.

Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death! - Patrick Henry

I've been told that the saying is actually " eat your cake and have it too" due to the fact that you can have your cake and then you can eat it but not visa versa. Probably the most misquoted saying there is.

You cant have it AND eat it. If you eat it, it gone.
Key word being AND.

From wikipedia

The proverb literally means "you cannot simultaneously retain your cake and eat it". Once the cake is eaten, it is gone. It can be used to say that one cannot or should not have or want more than one deserves or can handle, or that one cannot or should not try to have two incompatible things.

This Ford guy said, "I would’ve gave him money. I would’ve talked to him because the real crime is why is he in that position that he feels the need to come and hang out at a college campus and rob people of stuff they worked for."

NO the REAL crime is he put a gun in your face and robbed you! This is a perfect example of people being taught that you don't have to take responsibility for your own actions because it's outside influences that have made you the way you are. I don't care what happened in this guys life, he's still accountable for his actions; it's not someone else's fault that he decided to rob people! But you keep preaching that it's someone else's fault. That will help nobody, but it sure makes your liberal heart feel better.

I tell my kids all the time, I don't care whose fault it is. I want to know what YOU are doing to fix the problem. The blame game never gets good results.
