Anyone else seen any?

There's a pair that nests outside of the Mayor of Northport's office.

First ones I have ever seen.

They nest in most of the palm trees here.

You could get dinner with a BB gun if you wanted to.

I saw one the other day, was the first time in a long time I've seen any around the house. Used to have a ton of them.

They have been around several years. They are very tasty and don't count on your limit.

We have about as many of them as mourning dove. I have seen them destroy a mourning dove nest. They have been here 15 or 20 years I guess.

Some live under the barn where I hunt. You can shoot em any day of the year. Make a heck of a squawk when you scare them

Better and more meat than a Mourning dove.

We always called them ring neck doves. Been around for about 20 years or so. Looks like a pigeon and a morning dove hooked up.

I think their official name is Eurasian Collared-Dove

We've got lots of them at the shop. Much different than a Mourning Dove. We've had them "in town" for years. I shot some at a dove hunt in Troy over 20 years ago.

The'yre all over down here in Central Florida, along with the regular Mourning Dove. I also see another, much smaller Dove that spends a lot of time on the ground.

Stob, that's possibly an Inca Dove, maybe a Ground Dove.

When I lived in Troy, there was a small Dove just like you describe that was called an Inca Dove. I just looked online and the Interwebs said they just moved into AL saying they moved into Mobile in 2012. So that doesn't add up.

Are these collars similar to the ones they are putting on the deer? I thought we weren't supposed to shoot them.
