Agree!

I cut out all tv 5 years ago and then ended up getting Sling TV last year. I could usually find a place to watch the big games but finally got tired of that so I ended up with this set up. I really don't have too many issues with Sling; charter on the other hand is a different story where I live. They have issues all the time!!

I had SlingTV but missed out on some big games last year. It worked well most of the times but was below standard definition on games and shows that had a lot of people watching (college football and Walking Dead always seemed to be blurry)

You really need a device with an Ethernet port (like Amazon Fire or Rolu) to have a good experience. Sling on the chrome cast sucked. It works great on my Amazon.

Its not going to cost you much to try it. It just didn't work for me. Like I said the only time that I had problems was trying to watch college football.

Well... Football is the only reason I have cable and the only reason that I would want SlingTV.

What are the details of your internet connection?

I'm assuming you have windstream?

I have a friend that has it on Windstream and it works fine for him. I have Charter and have been thinking about getting it instead of paying DirecTV.

Winner winner chicken dinner. A lot of folks have problems with Windstream, its ok for me. Biggest issue is it goes out anytime it rains, and I mean anytime

I had the fastest Charter Cable Internet that they offer and using a Roku 3 with an Ethernet connection. I think that they have problems when a lot of people are streaming. We could not watch any of the big games. It would stop in the middle of a play and say that it was connecting. Then when it did connect it would be like 5 minutes later. I think a lot of people purchased the sling for the same reason and they just can't support it when there are a lot of people trying to watch at the same time. All of the other times we watched it, it worked perfectly.
