It does sound very similar to a Florida style club. Which is not my cup of tea.

Patches-they are chosen at the time of when you go to hunt.
Your honey hole is chosen when ever you get to it(off season or during season). How ever it may be. If some one gets there before you. Then that is there spot. Those spot are also on the sign out board.

I would understand it being an issue if it was a club that had 20 people to the 716 acres. But it's only seven people total.hopefully. If a person can not find his or her own private stand placement the produces meat. They might not be a hunter at all but a person going after luck. Which then you would not track off the beaten path but rather stick to the green fields. And if a person has a problem with a man creating a place and putting extra money into it and hard work during the off season in the heat and humidity then he is a person who is likely to climb in others ladder stand that he bought and place himself while he is not there. Which is not the type people who will be hunting with us. Something that is such a simple thing turned into confusion. It all about have a place to hunt and not having to wonder who hunted it last. It's for those of us who are serious. It's for those who pass up the small 6 and 8 in hope they will grow and make it to the next season.

I've been in a few clubs like this. For the most part it works out pretty well. In my opinion it actually helps to keep deer on the property well fed during the off season. Folks tend to spend more time and money on feed when they think they have their own little spot that nobody goes in. But there are downsides to it also. Especially if the club allows four wheelers going to and from stands.

I can see how this is confusing to many people one here. I see what you're doing and I get it. I think its a concept that only works with a close group of guys with similar hunting styles, values, and goals. Best of luck to you guys.

Jr. Yes. We are carefully with how we ride the property and I walk to my stand a good ways. Probably farther than others.

Boom, yes we are a close group of guys I would like to thing and get along well. I do believe our style of hunting runs parallel to each other which helps achieve Our goals. Hope your season goes well also.
