This past weekend Jackie Bushman and the Buckmasters Whitetail Deer Foundation gave a scholarship to a kid who is attending the University of Montevallo's Outdoor Scholars Program. This is a really cool program and is growing fast. The President's Outdoor Scholars

I wonder if the kid has to be on the Buckmasters call list for the rest of his life as part of the scholarship. If so I'd give it back. You ain't lying about that.

I wonder if the kid has to be on the Buckmasters call list for the rest of his life as part of the scholarship. If so I'd give it back. You could probably tie that in with the "Do you ever feel like your being watched" thread.

Heck I almost didn't graduate from Auburn because of deer hunting and I wasn't even getting scholarship money for it. I was just doing it for free.

I'm glad they're doing that. We need more ways to get kids involved in the future of hunting and fishing.

Haha that was me from Alabama...buddies and I had a lease 15 min from campus...it was bad haha I actually shot a buck before class, went and looked for him for a while, and then had to run to class that I couldn't skip that day...Ended up goin back right after and finding him ha

I know one of the kids who's in the program at montevalo. Too bad they didn't have those programs 15 years ago.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
