Crazy there is no way I would go to a dove shoot with more than 40 shooters.not saying it's a bad shoot, just tomany guns.Yes I try to make a shoot every year at my place.but 20 acres and 15 to 20 shooters max.I shoot plus I wont the guys that come to have a good shoot. My purpose for haveing a shoot 1. Is to have fun and 2nd to help with money for my food plots for deer.many people dont realize how much work it is just to put on a shoot.its not just buy your shells ,license and gun.I let everyone pick out there on spot most shoots is mainly toget most shooters and money they can.to me its everyone haveing a good time.Everyone be safeand hope you have fun at any shoot you attend. The fields 600 acres you'd be pissing in the wind if you didn't have 200 shooters. The problem with a lot of hunts is that there aren't enough people to keep the birds flying
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Don't have any stock in this as I have to awesome family shoots every year. But 20 guns on 20 acres is 1 gun an acre. 200 on 600 acres is 1 gun per 3 acres. Which may be just enough to keep them flying depending on the geography of the field.

I'm not real familiar with the area, but I worked a shutdown Mon,Tues,Wed,and Wed night in Columbus and I came home across a toll road (exit 68 IIRC) and there was a good looking field obviously prepared for a shoot on the right right before you get on the interstate. There was a good many birds on the power line. Bush hogged strip running length of the field. Always a ton of birds along the toll bridge in tuscaloosa
We will burn that bridge when we get there

May have been a bridge somewhere along the way, I was pretty dang tired so idk. But it was definitely a dove field not just planted for crop.
