There's really good deer hunting 3 directions from Thomasville. This is the 4th direction. It's decent but it's $8 land WITH turkey hunting or $5-6 land without IMHO. There are areas around Fulton, Peachtree (well, Scyrene, LP is east of T'ville) etc. where the neighbors can be less than desirable also.

There's good deer hunting E and SE too if you can keep the "neighbors" off of you. Of course, you've got to look at it from their perspective, they live there and are trying to help the state with the implementation of their deer eradication plan (unlimited does). I had a place in Dickenson (between Fulton & Scyrene) once, I hunted it 2 days a week every couple weeks and the "neighbors" hunted it the other 5 days every week (nights included). Rode up unannounced one day in the middle of the week and couldnt get on the property because of all the trucks blocking the gate. Bunch of democrats had a 40 man full scale dog drive going on my property.

Too expensive without turkey rights. Not to be mean as the market will bare what the market will bare but I hope they don't or I should say, no one will take the lease at that price.

People need to say no for such an arrangement with no turkey rights.

Someone will pay it or even more. Folks with a lot of money will pay high prices for hunting property. My son and I had a place we leased for 8 years and had it all set up. We leased from a private person. One day he called me and said he had some financial problems and had to lease to another person who paid twice what I was paying. Its all about the money.
