Last night, Clay-Chalkville High School had their Senior Awards Night. One young lady received an appointment to West Point beginning this fall. The officer who made the presentation to her said monetarily, this would be a $400,000 scholarship. She will be playing softball for the Cadets. Proud to see an appointment from our school. Overall, the Senior class is raking in over $9.6 million in scholarships, the most ever for a Clay-Chalkville graduating class. There are really some smart kids in this class.

We had our awards day yesterday and our kids are very respectful and clap for everyone. However when the Marines showed up and 3 young men (Two of which were my football Players) got their enlistment papers, they received a very loud, large, and long standing ovation. It was a very proud moment for me! Congrats to the young lady.
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!
