Getting up at 3 Am to go mess with him was fun. But I liked those field birds too! No doubt. After a while going to hunt that bird was like having to watch the same train wreck over abd over. It may be next season when I go up there and don't hear him any more before I decide fooling with that crazy joker was "fun"

Congrats on the finish and thanks for sharing a good story.
I'm horrible at writing them.
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Congrats on a fine bird ! And little coon is where I first started turkey hunting at many years ago, and man your story took me right back to that valley and those mountains. Thanks for taking the time to post up your story and its been few years since I hunted over in that area but I think next year I Will have to set aside a few days to chase some of those old BOAR TOMS in little coon .

Yessir, BrentM. Great story, great determination.Hope you get another fun bird next year. Killing him was probably worth 2 limits for the season. Congratulations.
