the neighbors have been setting up all along our property lines calling in our birds. Really makes it not as fun when you have bad neighbors. they caught one of your members on their property last year and socked him in the nose for it, and for back sass'n. So I can kinda understand them hunting the property line in a situation like that.

True he was a little over the property line but i dont think he realized it. Its kinda an unwritten rule that if your on one the lines could get crossed some, or at least it should be. Any way, those guys were completly out of line for what they did and now they are covering up our property line where we border them. Wish I didnt have to deal with them but we aint gonna just let it happen either

I don't near them either. Me neither. Also, I've yet to shoot a turkey with a name tag on it either.

No turkey hunter worth his salt ever let a property line keep him from shooting a bird. As long as your butt is on your side of the line, if that turkey is in range he's fair game. That said, your neighbor is doing nothing wrong. And even if he was, never forget rule #1 in turkey hunting: if you ain't cheatin, you ain't tryin. spoken like a true outlaw......

Thanks bhamfred, I thought that advice was appropriate given how ridiculous it is that WhildBill is complaining about someone shooting turkeys on their own property...could be much worse than someone hugging a line

Let it happen to you farms and see if it doesnt make you mad I'd just shoot the hens so the gobs wont follow them across the property line

One of our newb members shot a 2 year old, so unfortunately had to axe him wait..yall cut him for improper turkey management for killing a two year old? Anyone sock ya this year? Or is that why those boys are set up on your line...to see whos gonna get to this year? Or just to keep yall off? Whild bill is complaining about them ON the line when last year you were ACROSS the line?!? All I can say is..WOW! Is whild bill and you related?

John, I hope you slow down on the drinks a little. But your post does make me think about the situation. And youre right, I guess I have gotten caught up with all the drama with the neighbors. Its been a bad few years betweenus but probably time just to hunt as usual and not worry about them. I guess these birds make us go crazy sometimes. IF yall knew the stuff we deal with from the neighbors it might make more sense but it is what it is. Im going to try and not worry about what they are doing and just hunt as usual. I hope everyone gets a nice tom, you too john. Just gald im getting to be in the woods tomorrow!
