Got a 2009 700xp & love it. Did have some minor issues with bearing & small electrical stuff. Had to fix same thing twice since bought new. When I say minor it needed to be fixed but you weren't getting stuck in the woods & walking out. I don't believe Polaris backs their products up enough with their warranty. You're pretty much on your own after a year. That's my only beef with Polaris. I believe the warranty should be longer like 3 years or set number of hours.

Mine is a 2013 ranger 400 4x4 except for a little HP and no speedometer which I don't need it gets around just fine. You can get a winch for $70 at tractor supply. Overall you can save a few bucks. Look around and see if you can find a 2015 model and save a few more $.Call Shoals Outdoors in Muscle Shoals

This is what I have also. Bought from Shoals and nobody was close to them.

But it's not a Polaris.

My 2nd choice would be can am. Their newest utv looks just like a ranger

Guys I appreciate the feedback. Its been very helpful. Question for the guys with the Ranger 570. Does the 570 feel like it has enough power? I looked at a 900 yesterday. Im used to a 700 cc ATV so a 570 seems a little small but how has it performed in the woods?

I have a 900 but my grandpa has a 570 which I have used a lot. No lack in power in my opinion. It's actually a little easier to get through the woods probably. It just has a smaller bed and is mainly for 2 guys however you can squeeze 3 in there. I went 900 mainly because it seats 3 comfortably. The 570 doesn't lack any power in my opinion.

My 570 has tons of power. We have hauled six people in it all over the new cutover at our club. Up and down hills with plenty of power to spare.

I echo what others have said.

If you are gonna drop the coin on one of these, it just makes sense to get a windshield, roof and rear glass.

Also, if you look at any poly windshield, you'll realize you better buy glass. When I bought mine the glass front was around 600, the poly was 300. That was a no brainer. I went poly in the back....don't really need to see out the back as well as the front, its more a barrier for dust circling over the bed not getting thrown in the cab.

I have a 900 XP EPS single cab but have seen the 570's at work and seem as capable, just smaller footprint. I use mine most for running through flooded fields duck hunting and we beat the snot out of them. They never miss a beat.

I was told, but never researched, that the 570 had more HP than the old (2012ish) 800.

I'm pleased so far with my Ranger 900 XP EPS. Wish I had bought a folding/tilt windshield rather than the solid hardcoat poly windshield. I went with oversized tires and learned real quick that fender flares are a must unless you like a cab filled with mud.

I looked at them, but comparing apples to apples, it looks like you will spend a couple thousand over the same UTV in a Honda/Polaris/Yamaha.

The new Honda's are the bomb....and quiet...

Don't know about the power of the 570, but I've got a 2013 500 crew. I've hauled 5 grown men, coolers, tools, and a trailer loaded with hundreds of pounds of crap across all kind of hills and muddy terrain. No issues. Also, as stated, roof and front and back windshields are a must.

I have a 2015 Ranger 570 fullsize with power steering. It has great power. It tops out at about 50 mph.

I spent all day yesterday on my brother in law's Yamaha Viking 6 seater. It went everywhere I wanted to put it. Long wheel base was a blessing and curse...depending on where you had it. It did go in more places than a Ranger that I know was pulled out twice. We went through the same place with no issues.

Ok last question. Some of you have already said but i like to know where some of yall got the best deals. It looks like going out of state is inevitable but ive heard good about MS and TN. I've looked online and found dealers but almost all want you to call to get a price and I just haven't had time to sit down and start recording prices. Thanks.
