Let's hear what kind of turkey deaths this TSS has caused! What sold ya on it after a kill or two?

That's one of my favorite pictures ever posted on here Matt.

And if all goes well, I will put up one from the 20 gauge this year.

The patterns sold me first. Then hearing the science behind it. Then I bit the bullet and got started in it. I've killed 13 birds with it now, and they all agree that it is bad news for a turkey head. Ranges have been from 12 to 60 yards with a 20 gauge

I have all my stuff ordered to start loading them, and I can't wait! The shot came in today, now just waiting for the rest of the materials. I can't wait to see it perform

I was sold after I shot a load of TSS #9.5's 2 3/4 out of my .410 and made a 92 yard dirt nap on a turkey flying down from the roost

If my math is right I've killed 36 turkeys with it so far with 12, 20, and .410. Ain't had one tote it off yet as long as I do my part. I can't remember any of them being more than 42-43 steps so I could have killed them with about anything but it's fun to load shells and carry small-bore shotguns

I agree with Crenshaw, it's how things worked for me also. I shot around 40 birds with it and it's done a great job out to around 60 yards.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

It's cheaper than the nitros I was shooting, patterns better, and isn't over pressure and dangerous as hell. I like making my own calls and loading my own shells. Of the 10 times I pulled the trigger last year none of them toted it off.

As Squeaky as my witness I killed one in Kansas at 60 yds give or take. Using his 20 gauge with 2 3/4 9shot. Could be wrong on the shot size. Don't think he even flopped.
I'm a STRONG believer!!

How does one go about getting a picture like that? I imagine the vet would be pissed if you brought a dead turkey in for an X-ray

Yekrut, Nitros is what I'm swapping over from also. I only had one bad incident with them where a turkey got up and ran. But for a better shell and a cheaper price, I just had to get started and try the TSS

I'm not a vet, but have worked for one since high school and still help him out when I can. One of the perks of the job lol.

Or was it a 2 1/2" shell?
