I'm 37 and have been diagnosed with low T, I'm tired all the time and just don't feel like myself, I want to feel better and get back to being myself again, I just don't want to be dependent on testosterone the rest of my life, anyone else with low t and is on testosterone are the benefits worth the risk of being on it the rest of your life
If my life was any better i'd have to hire someone to help me enjoy it!

Thanks for the response, yea that is one thing that definitely worries me is the prostate, I'm seeing a urologist and he said that he would check my psa every 6 months, my level was 230 and he wants to start me on 200 mg injections, problem with prostate history is that I don't know who my dad is, history on that side of the family wouldn't be possible, I want to feel better just not sure about the risk
If my life was any better i'd have to hire someone to help me enjoy it!

I know two men that started taking the injections and they both had prostrate cancer within two years. They were told that prostate cancer was a risk but they shouldn't worry! They were using the same doctor. I take a supplement from GNC because I lift weights some. I need help maintaining muscle at my age. I've had my testosterone level checked and they are fine.

I wouldn't do it. It will shut your natural production down. There are ways through diet, exercise and stress relief that will help tremendously. 1. Exercise by lifting weights, but not any fru fru exercises, concentrate on the big lifts: Squats, Dead lifts, Bench press, Rows, Chin ups, Dips, Overhead press, etc... Big lifts with heavier weights stress your body and cause it to respond by producing more testosterone. 2. Do cardio, but not just any cardio, do some form of HIIT. Something like wind sprints, where you sprint for a short time followed by short periods of active rest like walking. you can do this on a track and maybe sprint down the straights and walk the curves 3. A diet higher in cholesterol and fats have been proven to help. 4. Booze is a testosterone killer. Cut back on drinking. 5. Reduce mental stress. Read, meditate, relax. 6. Some supplements have shown promise in causing your own natural production to go up. Not sure what your weight is, but following the plan above will help you lose body fat also and that will help as well. Boost Testosterone Naturally

Just giving you a hard time. Seriously stay away from the testosterone booster from the doctor and follow the plan above. When I got divorced about 12 years ago, I had low T too. I tried the testosterone shots for a little bit at first, then one day I was sitting on the bathroom sticking a needle in my thigh and thought, "This is crazy!, I'm only 40 something. Screw this!" Then I started following the plan I outlined above and things started to improve and returned to even better than before. Now I'm 54 and I'm strong, healthy and I guarantee you I have more sex and more energy than most guys half my age. My body fat stays around 15% to 17% and I eat some serious vittles too.
