It's nothing more than the way that each club is hunted. There are deer on both properties but SEHC has pretty strict rules to try and make the hunting as good as it can be for the area.

Southeastern you can't be on club property except workdays and hunting season. Unless they changed something they use to hog hunt all summer so that's not necessarily true. But I haven't known anyone in it in a few years.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I'm pretty sure you just can't be roaming around on the property during deer and turkey season. I believe the rest of the year is ok to hog hunt and scout or what ever.

It is definitely not a party club. It is run by some older gentlemen that go by their set rules or you don't go at all. They try hard to have a good hunting experience with decent results.

Used to be some great turkey hunting on Southeastern HC! Yes it was. I killed 15-20 off that place the 5 years I was in it!! Got one on my wall with 1 1/2 inch spurs that came from there!!

I heard 25 or 30 one morning.Never heard anything like it in this state before.Went the next morning and heard my normal 3 to 5.Killed several off that property.They were clear cutting the whole place the year I got out.

it is the old paint creek. same old bull crap, just a different name. been there, done that. STAY AWAY!!! Old Paint Creek in Coosa county? Is that the club that someone died in a camper or trailer fire at?? Yes. I bought a cabin there from the lady whose husband died there. I killed the biggest deer of my life there. It was the only deer I saw all season. I know a young man who hunted there after the change of leadership and he said they were good people. That is all I know. It was a big place, but I think some of it has been let go.
