I have always used Tinks 69 and know it works. I am one of those who always thinks there is something better out there. In your opinion, what is the best Estorus, doe in heat, lure on the market today. If you post, include the reason why you swear by it by telling about the hunt when you used it.
I tried Code Blue this year for the first time and it doesn't have a "loud" smell to me. I can barely smell it when I put it on a wick.
Thanks guys. B

I don`t normally get caught up in hunting gimi+cs and all of the mumbo jumbo sales talk but............ this stuff is bottled and packaged right down the road from me and I have personally sat down and talked to Don Bell about this. he is the original owner of code blue deer attractants and he sold that line and came out with top secret. the whole "magic" behind top secret is their method of extracting the deer piss. they have a procedure to where they extract it from the doe in heat and the urine never gets introduced to oxygen. at first I was like yeah ok whatever, nice sales pitch. well I bought 6 bottles last season for a trip I was taking with a few buddies. for one thing, I had 3 different shooter bucks walk my drag line right in bow range. I shot 1 (only allowed 1) and I put 1 of my buddies in my spot and he shot at a nice 8 point. missed that one and before he could get calmed down and reload his muzzle loader, a huge 6 point was standing in the drag line at 40 yards. all he could do was watch him walk off. buckfever was to blame for the missed shot. also, after a couple days of opening the bottle, we noticed the piss turned brown like tea. that's exactly what other estrus brands I have used looks like. so I said all that to say this. Top secret brand is by far the most fresh doe in heat piss estrus urine attractant on the market. only way to get any thing better is to shoot a doe in heat and extract it yourself.

A friend of mine a few years ago told me he had a pretty nice buck come into some buck bomb estrous he put out, said it went straight to the can picked it up in his mouth and got about 40 yds. before he dropped it... I told him he was full of chit and he got mad and said I got the can in the truck and you can see the bite marks all over it if you don't believe me... He was always known to stretch the truth a little bit...
Did you know that Beer Nutz are over a Dollar...and Deer Nutz are under a Buck...

Tinks hasn't been any good in years imo..There's a reason why academy has a shucks load left every year..It's either Top secret or Wildlife research for me..

I used to use the Tinks 69 solid stick (looked like a deodorant stick) to rub on my boots and surrounding trees and such. It went on white when you rubbed it in anything. I put it on a tree once, about 40 yards in front of my stand. A doe came strolling by and went off in the woods out of site. A few minutes later she came running back past me. A small buck was chasing her and when he passed the tree with the Tinks on it, he stopped sniffed the air, looked at the doe running off, let her go then walked over to the tree and stuck his nose right on the white Tinks on the tree.

I quit using any thing of that type. It certainly will attract bucks, but it also will spook does out of your area. I like having does around during the rut.
only thing I use is straight fawn pee to mask my in/out path. Never in many years have I see a negative reaction to this ever. Some ignore it, some will follow it to the tree, but not one spook.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I know you are a deer wisperer and know when it comes to deer you can do damn near anything but how in the world do you get fawn pee? In not trying to be condescending, just curious!
The world needs more people holding deer in pictures, and less people holding cameras in front of mirrors.

Live Skanky Doe would be a great name for a product or an indie band.
