All the bucks that are killed on our place weigh over 200lbs or someone will be reaching for their wallet. It actually one of our criteria for shooting a buck. If you hunt normal / average land in AL, a lot of bucks will live and die on "your place". I know they would where I hunt. Would you really let a 5, 6, or 7 year old buck walk cause he "looked" like he weighed 180?

I've killed several over the years. This one was 230lbs In all my years I don't believe I've ever seen one hung up that way. Interesting. Did you get him to sit in that chair behind him while you cut his front legs? I was thinking the exact same thing!

CNC you only skull mounted that deer. You must have some hoss daddies on the wall. Eh...Not really. I've killed a few decent deer and a lot of average ones. I just got to where I like that skull mounted look better. It's a lot easier on the wallet too. I wish I knew about skull mounting when I was younger cause I have several I'd have done

I've killed three over 200, and my brother has killed about that many. That's a pile of deer over 30+ years hunting for both of us. They're not very common for us, but we don't kill many over four years old either.

I have killed 3. They are few and far between now due to the change from agriculture to pasture land and hay growing.

Biggest we have killed on our place in Monroe Co is 237, 225, 212,and a few more that just broke 200. We have not killed a 200# buck in years. A good friends son killed the heaviest buck I have heard of in years in Awin a week ago that weighed 260#.

I've killed 3 different ones. 205, 215 and 219. All weighed by a processor. 205 & 219 were killed in Macon County. 215 was killed in Bullock. Most people just guess at the weight.

The bigger question here is who has killed a 200+ pounder and loaded it in the truck by them self with no help from contraptions? I have once. Don't think I will do that again. haha, I have. Took a while. Pulled the head up to tailgate high and tied it off, then got into bed, lifted antlers till I could almost stand and dead slid him into the bed by standing and arching my back while stepping back. Prolly put my ass in the hospital now.... I killed a 252 pound buck once and my wife and I took 30 minutes to load it into bed of truck. Same method with some help.....
