Seems they are making a pretty big push against the Gun Trusts. The push against Trusts, corporations and LLCs has been in the works for at least a couple of years now. The main focus of this has been NFA weapons. It's known as 41P and will require every trustee, beneficiary, etc to be fingerprinted, have mugshots taken and pass background checks as do NFA transactions done as an individual vs the afore mentioned entities. Every word of this is just more control over law abiding citizens. It has nothing to do with the elimination of gun crime.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

And this new "authority" is given to one of the most rogue entities of the federal government to ever exist.

I don't see anything but political double talk. All those things are already covered under federal law. You notice how many times they say "engaged in the business"?
Thst is not going to affect this site becuse it doesn't sell, anything. It also doesn't affect invdvidual sales. I sounds like it will affect individual sales, but it won't unless you are selling a bunch of firearms. What a "Bunch of firearms" is is kind of open to interpretation if one reads the new rules: "If youre in the business of selling firearms, you must get a license and conduct background checks.""There is no specific threshold number of firearms purchased or sold that triggers the licensure requirement. But it is important to note that even a few transactions, when combined with other evidence, can be sufficient to establish that a person is 'engaged in the business.'" That is already a law. There is a lot of case law about what it means to be in the business of. Basically, thypey ahbe to show that you did it as part of your livelihood and that you depended on or intended for it to be part of your livelihood.

He is so narcissistic that he does not want to be seen as a lame duck president so he attacks the only thing he can to help his party look good going into the election. I wonder if we will ever have good leadership again? He is hardly lame duck. He is the most effective president ever, in terms of implementing his agenda. On topic, I can still give away a gun and sell my ammo for $500 a round, correct?

I just wish I owned a gun. I got rid of all of mine years ago.

Once again, he can be credited with increasing gun sales. The gun manufacturers and stock owners thank him.

Whatever became of laws being written and passed by both houses of congress and then signed into effect by the POTUS?

Whatever became of laws being written and passed by both houses of congress and then signed into effect by the POTUS? See, that is the key. He isn't changing anything. This is just talking about laws that already exist or talking about investigations into changes that are already on going (like the trust changes) but that require congressional approval to go into effect. He is not doing anything but standing there running his mouth and telling the ATF to enforce laws that are already on the books.

1) Anyone in the business of selling firearms must have a license, conduct background checks or face prosecution.
2) Expanded and "more efficient" background checks.
3) Add 200 ATF agents to enforce existing laws and prosecute abuse of gun violence laws.
4) Enhance mental-health treatment. Apparently, we need more and bigger govt, so 500 million will be added to Obeymecare to pay for this.
5) Boost gun safety technology. Develop new technology to make guns safer...this is a rehash of the fingerprint lock crap.
