Anybody on Aldeer in this club? I hunted there one day as guest a couple of years ago, thought it was awesome. I'm considering getting in a new place next season, would really like to be in there.

I sure don't know. It was dark when we went, dark when we left, seems like we made 10 dozen turns on obscure county roads.

I think that place in Notasulga is still an active quail preserve. Part of this land used to be a quail hunt place, but it's just a hunting club now. About the only thing I remember is we went over Lake Harding. I know I don't have squat for information, I was just taking a chance in the dark that it rang a bell with someone. I'll try to get more specifics from the guy who took me.

I'm fairly confident it's in/near Salem, perhaps off Co Rd 379. Looking at Google, I think it's near "TN's Tiki Tavern"

I don't think so...or at least I don't remember a bridge. I remember that night we rode to a dam (I'm guessing Harding), and it couldn't have been a mile from their camp house.

Hmm. Its probly a shucks ton of money for the lease. MY boss hunts out that way and has a lease bout 1200 acres. I JUST CANT SEE PAYIN 1500 $ ON A CLUB. HELL WHEN I HUNTED IN GA A COUPLE YEARS AGO I GOT IN ON A LEASE FOR LIKE $400.00 Our lease in Russell County is 1100 acres and its $1500. Wish it was cheaper. You cant find decent land for less that $12 per acre around here. that includes liability ins.

Ikillbux, are you sure you are not talking about "Loose 10"? That is the only thing in Salem that I am aware of. You ain't getting in there. Not a club, family/ corporate retreat
