Didn't want to hijack the thread about scent killers and soaps, etc. I do primarily used scent-a-way products, which seem to have served me well. But I'm wondering what folks are using for deodorant. I've found that salt works very well. You can use Milk of Magnesium (or the comparable store brand)for easy application which stays with you. I actually use it year round to avoid putting aluminum into my system. Whats everybody else doing to stop the stink?

God I hope he is. I don't wear deodorant while I'm hunting in the winter and I wear whatever unscented deodorant is cheapest at academy during bow season.

Lol. May sound funny but I do all kinds of crazy things, like eating healthy, excercising, getting adequate sleep. But MoM is simply salt.

YEP! EXACT same thing as the expensive variants! Fell into this when I ran out of one of the fancy ones, and had this in the travel kit. Claimed scent free, and when I compared, it is exactly the same as the expensive ones for cheap. Perfect for me!

A&H unscented. Wally World in Northport quit carrying it. Got to find some elsewhere.

a+h unscented. Will get a stick or two ddw. I were the a+h as soon as season comes in, everyday.

When my stick of Scent Killer is up I'll be getting an A&H to try out.

I use the dead down wind and it works better just as deodorant/anti-perspirant than my normal deodorant does. Can go 2-3 days without a refresh if need be and still no pit stank.

I guess it's just body chemistry but the Arm and Hammer made me stink - so I just use Sure unscented and it seem to work for me a lot better.

Ok. Let me get this straight. In this thread we have a dude rubbing salt or milk of magnesia in his armpits, and another that wears no deodorant all winter? Wow! Fellows, hunt the wind, and forget the silliness. (Swirling wind hunting high country cowboys excluded, of course. Y'all are just screwed, I reckon.)

I don't wear it before I go hunt when it's cold i don't sweat so i don't see what it matters. I'll put it on after I take a shower when I get in from hunting

Unscented suave,maybe its sure brand. 1.88 at Walmart, never been winded. Put do clothes with various scent away sprays and wash and dry with dirt scent stuff,
