I've had my KJ for about 2.5 years now, and have been using a ceramic cooking stone, firebricks, and extra grill grid when doing indirect cooks. Last week, I shattered my stone, and while looking at options to replace it, I found out that the new KJ's come with their "divide and conquer" system that allows for multiple set ups. I just talked to the local KJ dealer and I can get the divide and conquer system, including the two half moon heat deflectors, for $60. My question is, do any of you all have the divide and conquer system, and how do you like it? Versatility? Seems to me as it would be ideal for indirect, raised direct, split zone, etc...

Where did you find it for $60? I haven't priced one but that sounds like a great price for all that.
Cohen's in Montgomery. I asked to be sure that it included everything and he said it did. I am skeptical that it does include all that for $60.

A heat deflector usually ran around $60, or used to be. I have a KJ dealer near me. I'll go by and check there too. I would like to get that if I can get it for $60. My KJ is the old style and about 4 years old.

They didn't have the whole system in stock, but are getting a quote for me.

Will the green egg place setter fit your grill? I have an egg and use the place setter for indirect. It also allows me to raise the cooking surface.
