This is a spin off from my other thread but deserves it's own.

I had seen a video he made for his, "Kentucky Bowhunter's Package", and though...what a complete waste of money! X$ for Straps that he, "Calls", Stabilizer straps. X$ for each of the other things in the package...whatever.

Well I bought the straps and bowholder recently and I am totally blown away. I hate using bow ropes to tote my bow up to my stand. I have a self-retractable one that is great but left it one of my ladder stands in the woods and can't remember which one lol. Well, I haven't had to use a bow rope once since I got that bow holder cause i can climb with my bow attached to the stand; it's amazing. For climbing i have the bow facing one way and the once I get ready to shoot i nock an arrow and put the bow back in the holder facing the other way. Way less movement than using a hanger screwed into the tree and arguably more secure.

The stabilizer straps are even better as they make the stand SAFE. We take it for granted that we will be okay as we have used our climbers hundreds of times, but every year people get complacent and end up in the hospital or worse. These straps make the stand so secure it's amazing. The bottom can't drop out but if it did while you were going up or down it can't go far and will be way easier to retrieve.

I haven't excited about a new product since I switched to a TightSpot Quiver (W/hha Bracket).

When I ordered last time I only got the bowholder and bracket. This time I ordered the whole Kentucky package.

I am telling You Honestly... I hunt Full Time 6 months a year; It's all I do. I will never hunt my climbers without his Stabilizer Straps and BowHolders again. We have 6 or 8 Ladder stands up sand will be replacing all the hangers with his bowholders as money permits.

There are plenty of Rage and Mathews Fanatics...I am now a Thirdhand Fanatic.

Been using his stuff for years. When I got my new climber the first thing I ordered were some stabilizer straps for it.

We are not perfect, only forgiven!!!

I have the bow holder on my summit climber also. I love it. I climb up and down the tree with my bow in the holder.

My last two stands that were purchased had the climber straps ordered for them before the stands even arrived and at 15.00 a set or 2/25.00 it is a small price to pay for security. After installing the stabilizer straps you can do away with your attachment rope between the two stands and you can also use them to cinch the stand together for backpacking.I have been using their products for awhile now with much satisfaction. thumbup

I wouldn't climb without the straps not that I've used them. Once you're up and in position the straps make the stand feel like a solid mounted platform.

I was messing around earlier this season and climbed a tree in the backyard. I didn't have the straps on the stand and forgot before I started climbing. It was a very unnerving feeling. Not only do the straps make you safer while climbing and once you're locked on, but they make you "feel" safer as well.

I nearly piss myself over 10 feet off the ground. The straps allow me to hunt with a climber. Without them I would be a blind only hunter. No kidding.

I also have lifelines tied to all my favorite trees.
