That deer is lucky it didn't get caught like that in walker county. They would have set up a tent and charged admission

I came up on a doe with her back legs caught in a 6x6 wire fence one time. I thought she was dead, but when I got up to her she moved her head. I walked back to the truck and got a pair of pliers and came back and cut the wire. She just layed there, exhausted. I left her and went to my stand. When I came out after dark she was gone. I dont know what I would have done if it had been a deer that was not tired. I have heard many stories of people getting seriously hurt by a pissed off deer.
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

Deer lucky he wasn't in Marshall County. We eats em and considers em a gift from above when they just laid out for you like that. It was a cool rescue though.
