Any of you guys been to the pull a part in Birmingham? I've never been and curious as to how it works. Did you take your own tools? I need a NP241C transfer case and I have enough of the jackasses/non follow through folks on Clist and facebook. And most junkyards are unreal $350-400 on what they want for a used case. I can buy a junk core, and a rebuild kit is only $100.00.

Yup. $2 to get in, take your own tools. Computers located at front counter.. enter yr, make and model you are looking for and it gives you row # so you can find it.

Have been before but it has been a while. There used to be, and probably still is, guys hanging around out front that you can pay to pull your parts also.

Try bookout in West Jefferson. They might have one and might be a decent price. You never know.

Yep, I like going.

Take your kids hunting instead of hunting your kids.

I'd rather be LOST in the woods than FOUND in the city.

Yea the last time I went there was tons of people willing to takeoff whatever you needed for next to nothing. You can find some great deals.

Worley is closed now. I used to like going to them because theyd let me take my service truck out on the yard to pull motors with my crane and use my air tools.
