haleyville al,
Something similar. Wasn't that nice. It was a old school bus that you pulled up to door and only the top half opened. You told him what you wanted and passed It out to you. I'm pretty sure the old guy is still in prison. Came in handy in high school though.

They had one in Oxford while I was in school at Ole Miss called the Rebel Barn. At the time, you could not buy cold beer in Lafayette county MS, so in the winter time, Rebel Barn had the only cold beer in town. You could pull in with a cooler in the back, and they would pack it and ice it down for you. That was the only one I've ever seen, and it has since closed down.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I've been through a few in Louisiana. I've always wondered how they keep the carbon monoxide down.

The Rebel Barn was still open when I was in school and it was just as you described. It turned into a restaurant when I was in graduate school. It has been a few different restaurants, and now I think it is a barbecue place and they have a crawfish trailer out front during the spring. There used to be one other beer barn that I knew about and it was down in Magee, MS off Highway 49 but it's now a hardware store I believe.

Right up the road from Rebel Barn was the Brittany Store. It was a gas station run by some Arabs with a drive through. Just so happened they would sell you beer and bring it to you through the drive through window. They often did not discriminate when it came to age.

When I was a summer intern in Utah during college, we used to go to this bowling alley over the line in Wyoming. It had a drive thru liquor store attached to it that also sold fire works.

They have them in New Orleans. I remember getting a mixed drink at a drive thru. Styofoam cup with lid. Straw was not in drink and a sign said not to insert straw into cup until you were at your destination, (not while driving).

Yeah... that probably was not what happened.
