I used to be an AEA member. I dropped out two years ago. I could no longer justify sending money to an organization that supported every thing I was against politically(other than a pay raise for me! :)). Also, they send money to the NEA. They DEFINITELY support everything politically that I am against.

And probably still take the advantages of all the benefits the union provides and the things that people fought and struggled to get in past years... I would never work at a place that is union, and not be in the union... No way, no how...
