I had all 34 of my pines in the front yard cut down a while back and I'm needing them gone, can anyone recommend a good outfit around mobile? Also I've heard several people tell me different ways to kill the stumps myself with chemicals and drill holes in them etc... Any truth to this? And if so school me on how it's done.. Thanks yall

They dead already. There is something that I put on a stump once that was supposed to make it rot faster. I don't know if it worked or not. I don't know how fast it would have rotted if I hadn't put it on it.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

I had twelve here at the house when we finished clearing behind the house.I just went out about once a week and poured sugar water on them and the ants did the rest.Took till the end of summer to see them gone but it worked. Then all I had to worry about was killing the ants grin

If I had to do it all over again, I would hire a stump grinder. Been in this house over 20 years and still have some remnants of one in backyard.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Either a grinder or an excavator, if they are longleaf or slash and have a lightered core they won't rot.

I had just over 50 of them dug up with an excavator about 3 months ago. It made quick work out of them. Cost right at $425

Stump grinder, then you have 2 truck loads of mulch.

I rented one of the small stump grinders at the rental place one time. Picked it up on Saturday right before they closed. Took it back Monday when they opened. Only payed the 4 hour minimum. Did about 30 that afternoon and a few for my neighbors. It was actually fun.
