Is the calculated draw length really that accurate? I figured it up the way I seen it on a couple of websites and it figured up to be 26.8 inches so 27. I shoot 28.5 now. Reason I done it is cause I didn't think my draw length was right. But I didn't think it was that bad off. Is this really right?

There are several ways to do it. I usually measure a person's wingspan and divide by 2.5 and it gives you a good starting point. This is just a starting point tho. My starting point has me around 29.25 but I feel to "scrunched" up with a DL that short.

Thats what I use as a starting point. It usually gets within 1/2" either way.

The wingspan method is what I use as well. If you measure out at 26.8", I suggest trying 26.5" first. Also, most bows don't actually measure the listed drawlength. Most run 1/4" long and I've seen some go up to 3/8" long.
