we have had a boss buck feeder out for over a month now full of feed and can't even get a picture of deer around it. We've thrown corn on the ground around it and still cant get them to come around it. only pictures I've had are of coons.

Any Ideas or tricks yall have used to get deer used to coming to gravity feeders?

It takes time for them to get used to it. Some deer will eat from them right away and some won't.

It took 2 months before I got just one deer to attempt it. But once one does the rest follow suit. I just put corn out in a large radius to get them coming in. Slowly decrease that radius and keep a pile directly underneath the boss buck, eventually as they close in they will smell it. Are you seeing deer tracks in the area?

yea but they have a natural trail there and I haven't had any pics of deer yet so I'm guessing they are just passing but I know if the coons smell it the deer smell it

In my experience like you said if the coons have found it then the deer should have by now especially on a trail. I have only had that problem one time and I finally decided after couple months of the feeder emptying out (timed broadcast feeder) with a pile of corn and protein pellets underneath and few tracks with no pics that there just weren't many deer around. Hope that is not your problem.

Same here at my hunting land I've tried feeders. I had a camera on all and the deer would stay about 50ft away so after hogs help knock them over that's where they stayed, poor corn on the ground and they hammer it. Back home though on my hunting land there's alot of deer and its like Texas they hear the feeder go off and within minutes there will be deer standing under it.

Had a similar experience last year with one of our Boss buck feeders. Deer simply would not eat from it. Had 1 or 2 yearling pics at feeder all summer and never had to add more feed. Tons of tracks in this area in the winter but no deer in the summer months. Finally moved the feeder up on a ridge about 400 yards away from this spot and they started feeding from it.

hmm I have a spreader feeder about 1000 yards from here and they are smashing it. I'm not sure if its just they don't like the gravity feeder part or what but they aren't touching it. I have about 120$ in feed in it too.

I've had similar things over here. My in-laws property 8 miles down the road will have pics of every deer in the county with their nose inside the redneck gravity feeder. Here at my house, I can't get a deer to get near the thing.

They loved the gravity feeder at my property in TN but seem to be repulsed by the thing over here in AL.

mannnn that dang feeder was expensive, I'd hate for the deer to never use it. I'm just gonna pour apple corn all around it, I know they'll come to it then

You're dang right they're expensive not to mention the corn in it. Throw another 60 on top.
