Remember this day.

Teach your kids and grandkids to remember this day.

If you coach kids today in sports, or work with them in Scouts or church groups, teach them about it.

"Hell yes I'm ready Woodrow! Don't I look ready?"

Memorial Day I sat and pondered what a horrible thing it would be to go off to war and never return.
I thought about all the young men in the prime of their lives -who might well have fallen in love with a girl back home -who they yearned to see again . Men who had families -a baby brother or sister they dearly loved taking care of -children of their own -friends with whom they had big plans to hunt out west -get a trap line going --thousands of dreams of life. All those thoughts and dreams gone while fighting a bunch of commies to insure my freedom.
I won't forget this day and won't forget the whole war and many others -THAT'S FOR SURE!!

God Bless them all !
