Set up on a greenfield at the back of our place. Only bird I've heard so far sounded like a jake. Maybe one will turn up! Good luck!

I'm calling for 3 others on property I've never been on and so far there has been 2 gobblers spooked by others

Worked a bird from 530-730. Had to take my nephew back to the house. Then had a hen go straight to the gobbler. Backed out took him to the house now headed back to field. Hunt was already a success to me. He said "this sure is better then watching tv at the house!"

Didn't hear anything on the limb, but struck one up around 7:40, and called in 2 with one of them gobbling good. They would only come in to about 57 steps, and never offered a clear shot. Tough way to end the season.

Had one in full strut at about 50 yards in a field but didn't think I could haul off Hobbs Island Rd and hit him in my truck on my way to work without getting stuck in the field.

Just put a foot on da head... What a beautiful morning. Pic and story when I get home and get good service.
