That TSS has lived up to all the hype this being my first year using it. I've pulled the trigger 8 times and it has done nothing but bring the pain. I stretched it out on 2 shots in Texas and Oklahoma and they both turned a flip when they were hit. The stuff is something else.

Good luck this year David. How many states you like now?

I hope to get on the train next year, going to try and set up a 20 for kids and think it will help.

This is my 1st year loading the tss also. Only pulled the trigger once so far on the M2 20, but 53 steps later I was standing over him. I'm sold, doubt I'll ever tote a 12 again

I have not had the chance to see the carnage yet, but I will say carrying the little 20 ga for the 575duzen miles I have walked has been a pleasure compared to the 12ga.

Thank you Brandon! Good luck to you with all of your remainder hunts. Doesn't look like you need it as you are absolutely slaying them.

I'm currently at 43. Almost done and got some new states planned for this season. Can't wait to get on the road.

Btw, I might be in your neck of the woods tomorrow morning pending the weather. I'm in Nashville now and watching the weather. Will be there or here in TN.

I was witness to a couple of TSS deaths for the first time myself. Brandon made what seemed like an impossible shot in OK. I'll say that I was impressed tho.

I tried to get him to give me a shell to kill one on top of a hill about 120 yards away. He wouldn't for some reason rofl

20 gauge TSS? Bah! Real Men shoot a 3.5" 12 gauge load of TSS. Gotta make sure they are really dead. smile

The sight picture on the Bushnell Holosight I have on the SBE is so much better than the FF on the 20 gauge that its just hard for me to put the 12 down. And it only weighs 7 pounds, so the weight isn't that much of an issue. I dunno if I'll switch back to the 20 or not. But you are right - TSS is bad news for turkeys.

Glad to join you boys.

The TSS is easy to get (Hal) it's the dang powder that's difficult to get. Black gold these days.

Question: Why shoot a 20ga loaded with TSS and make it a 60yd gun when you can perform a great 60yd pattern with a 12ga with a good choke and factory ammo. I just thought the only reason to carry a 20 is to limit your range and make it more of a challenge. I think these birds are challenging enough without the 20ga.
