Guys I hate to keep asking for help but these kids of mine, being on the fishing team, are wearing me out. One good thing is that we are fishing alot of different lakes, many of which I have never been on. They have a tournament coming up on Lake Tuscaloosa in a couple of weeks. My son and I went down yesterday and fished around Binon creek then up the North River and the other creek that splits off at the mouth of North River. Found some great looking spots but could not put a pattern together. Water temp 43-44 degrees, scattered fish holding in 18 - 30 feet. Nothing that I felt confident that we could get 5 keepers. Going back again next saturday to practice again. Any help appreciated.
"Control" is just an illusion.

Throw a square bill around the edge of the grass and a swim jig up in it. I've caught them on those two baits up there while it was so cold my rod guides were freezing up. I wore the bass out about a week ago on a crappie jig in the grass
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Water was almost 50 on the upper end of the lake today. Caught a couple of nice spots long lining a road runner for crappie around the 43 bridge
We will burn that bridge when we get there
