Has anyone used Rice Bran for off season feeding? How well did it do?
Thanks

Deer eat it if you can keep the pigs out of it

I'd think protein feed would be a better purchase this time of year.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

High carbs now vs protein around may/June til September/ October from what I have read. No experience to back it up though.

Let em' grow.

My rule has been, start protein pellets with corn first of February. Does should be 1 to 2 months into gestation. Some studies have proven that bigger, healthier fawns turn into bigger, healthier bucks down the road. Go straight protein May to October for both the nursing does and antler growth. Corn em' all deer season.

I am about a month behind your schedule...but, pretty much follow it to a 'T'!
