That crazy! I have a buck chasing a doe on camera jan 31st!
Now they're dropping antlers. And to think there were many in LA that wanted to extend season into Feb. for the whole state just so they could get what they wanted.

What part of the state do you hunt Fred? found that shed in Bibb Co..
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

You'd be wrong. For one the feller that was spearheading the extend Alabama deer season and who's phone number was on the web site. That's who. Had a chat with him a couple years ago, DA tried to tell me I needed two weeks in Feb. Said he would work to get the whole state changed if that's what it took. That conversation didn't end well......for him. Like I've said many times , I don't give a damn what other folks do, just leave me the hell alone. I'll not get off on  bout not seeing any deer and changing doe limit to 1 per day for the whole state even though the whole state didn't want it or need it.

cool shed fred  not saying that you did, but dont group all south bama hunters in one. what pisses me off to the point that i want to choke the shucks out of somebody is when people make the comment " well if you cant kill a buck from october-january then you suck at hunting" (not you trox). i would love for those same idots to come hunt south bama only for a few seasons. then maybe they can get it thru their thick skull. its pure damn ignorance and selfishness to want the entire state to conform to one persons needs. some of these pricks would be crying a river if they werent alowed to hunt the month of december.

I agree 100%. id trade The whole month of December for the whole month of Febuary at the club. I hunted through Febuary 8th and still hadn't seen any signs of the big boys rutting yet....
