Noticed a few yellow jackets in a downstairs light fixture and killed a couple in the kitchen. Yesterday after getting home from work, I did a walk around the house. Noticed lots of these little yellow creatures going in around a window frame in a finished room in the basement. Apparently, they are holed up in some of the blocks and possibly the walls in that area. What would be the best way to get rid of 'em? I know I can't gas them and set them on fire. I need my house. Should I wait 'til after sunset and dowse the frame with poison and then seal around the window frame? If poison didn't kill them, would they eventually starve or do you think the would try to find another way out and possibly end up all in my house? Should I just call pest control? Help.

Did yall read his question? They're in the infrastructure of the house. Now way in heck i'm pouring gas in/on it...don't care how satisfying it is (and I hate 'em). Watched a guy kill a swarm of honey bees with soapy water...says they "drown"? That might be an idea (better than gas in the wall...at least to me)? Some sort of pyrethroid fogger might work after dark too?
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Pyrethrin in the hole after dark. It will kill them and it is organic so it will not harm your house or your family.
It is made from a flower.

i just paid the exterminator $75 to come and take care of mine. They found a small crack in the mortar in between the bricks. Best part, I was no where around while he was working.
