Knew I shouldn't have but y'all know how that goes. Hadn't talked to her in a long time. Time is merciless. When we were young - she was a sixteen year old blonde with the body of a twenty year old, I was seventeen. There is a first time for everything and she was determined to do it all. And we did in spite of everyone knowing it would happen and trying to prevent it. I have no doubt her daddy would have at best whipped my ass. I got out of high school, joined the Army went to Vietnam. She didn't. Nor did RJ. By the time I got out of the Army they were married. Time goes on. We lived or whole lives about five miles apart and saw each other over the years. Our daughters were in girl scouts and played on the same softball team. We'd do the "you looking at me catching me looking at you" thing then embarrassingly both look away. I'd heard she wasn't in a good marriage but I was so never made any contact. Then about a year ago she send me a friend request on facebook. Our daughters were connected and she saw me posting on my daughter's page. I ignored the request. About two weeks later she sent another one. I ignored it too. Don't know why I decided to stop by. But I did. Didn't stay long. Cemeteries are very depressing in the rain. Damn bud
We will burn that bridge when we get there
