From 2009 until present the breeding data we've collected puts the average conception date between Jan 6-10. In most cases bucks are very active and prone to death 10-14 days prior to the peak conception date. So from the week of Christmas through middle of January is a great time to be there. Thanks Matt for the state info. It'll sure enough be hard to hunt when the whole.place is a pine thikcet
