Nah...that's actually just volunteer clover at the check in station...killed it several miles from there...I was by myself so that was the first photo opportunity... Haha

Good job buddy!
Well fellas, I missed again Saturday, 3rd miss of the season, 5th in 17years since I killed my first. Shouldn't have shot, i may go 1 afternoon after work, but otherwise I'm done in bama. Headed to Kansas Wednesday to hunt public. Then will probably hunt tn or ga the 2nd weekend in may. Maybe I can manage a few more

I got number 3 yesterday men. This one will score 61.25. Time to head to Tennessee starting tomorrow morning and try to upgrade! Good luck if ya'll have hunts left!

Got number 4 in Tennessee this evening fellas. He is only a tiny upgrade from my smallest. Don't think it's gonna make a difference but I will post it up later if need be. I'm hoping I can kill another better one at some point before this thing is wrapped up.

I killed a good bird in Kansas on public land this morning. 24lbs 2oz. Real good spurs and beard but haven't measured them yet. It's been rough so far, ended up driving back to the eastern part of the state last night cuz we couldn't find any hunt able numbers on the plains Congrats man! Wear those jokers out!

Congrats. I'm heading to NE in a couple days. I'm hoping to get a Rio and Merriam to finish my slam in one year. I've never killed a different subspecies, until this year. Maybe I can upgrade a bird or two.

Stay after them fellas! I killed number 5 in Tennessee yesterday. Just a 2 year old so no upgrade, but I had a blast! The thought of Saturday coming and going and turkey hunting for 2014 being over with is gonna be rougher for me this year than any in my career thus far. Alabama just SUCKED for me so very bad, with turkey that would not play the game, that I just haven't gotten my fill this year.

Thanks! I'm thinking seriously about buying a 3 day license for Georgia myself and giving it a whirl next week! Dont Georgia close a week from tomorrow on the 15th though?
