If I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all. I finally had a gobbler gobbing he was just right across the property line about 200-250yds away from where I was sit up. I started calling to him an he was answering me an started getting closer he was sounding good. He was coming but the next thing I know was kaboom!! someone on the neighbouring property was between me an the turkey an never said a word. So im sick but gonna head to my other property an see if i strike one up. Good luck this weekend guys.

This was a quick afternoon hunt. Had 3 hens and a gobbler in the field at 2:15 and at 3:15 had my foot on his head. Got the hens to coming to me and the gobbler was following behind them. Yelp to the hens and scratched some leaves and here the come taking there time the gobbler was strutting and drumming right behind them. At 40 yds let the Benelli bark and it was a bang flop. He had a 10.5 inch beard 1.25 spurs and weighed 20 lbs. NWTF score was 20+12.5+12.5+21= 66

Guys I enjoyed being on y'alls team. Congrats on all y'alls kills! I know I didn't get my three kills but i hunted my butt off this season trying to make it happen. I'm still in the learning curve after 8 season of hunting an still no gobbler. I still enjoy sitting on the ground against a tree waiting on the woods to come alive an that morning thunder. I know I let you guys down an i feel bad for that.

I have really enjoyed being on the team with y'all and congrats to all that killed their birds and for those that didn't if you learned things this year that will make you better. I learn things every time I go hunting to use for next year. Maybe next year we can beat team 1.

Guys .. I hate I let y'all down with just one. I hunted more than I will let y'all know .. But you can't kill them if their not there... Looking for a new club for next year in south Alabama if y'all hear of any openings .. Thanks
