Shouldn't have shot, i may go 1 afternoon after work, but otherwise I'm done in bama. Headed to Kansas Wednesday to hunt public. Then will probably hunt tn or ga the 2nd weekend in may. Maybe I can manage a few more

It's been rough so far, ended up driving back to the eastern part of the state last night cuz we couldn't find any hunt able numbers on the plains

We drove 400ish miles in the first two days on back roads with a spotting scope, and saw a whopping 4 gobblers and 7 hens, all on places we couldn't get permission to. Headed to a place that's mostly woods, that I've duck hunted before and I killed the only bird I got into the game with. Heard a few birds but not much gobbling and most was off the property. Tag soup doesn't taste good.

The thought of Saturday coming and going and turkey hunting for 2014 being over with is gonna be rougher for me this year than any in my career thus far.
