Love the name. It's comical that our team is already up to (4) pages. This is going to be a fun group.

I saw a track a few years ago. I thought that it was a panther track because there are so many of them around Alabama. The guy I was with said it was a turkey track. I not sure if I believe him. It looked more like a panther track to me.

Good luck guys, hope you all kill a multi bearded hooked toad of a gobbler in the am. As for me, I'll be lucky to hear a bird.

Well lets see, started the morning off by having my front right hub lock up as I was getting off the interstate. Sent me spinning about 4x down the off ramp. Took out a hwy sign and ended up stuck in the ditch. Figured out that the brakes had lost pressure and the rotor had bound up somehow. Jimmied it loose, got my tools out and put the hwy sign back up, and got towed out. Then decided to go about 10mph and ease the last couple miles to the wma with no brake pressure. Wasn't in the place I wanted to be by daylight, didn't hear a single gobble, called in a few hens, walked my butt off, etc. hunted til about 1, then decided to go fix my truck, so I took the brake caliper and rotor off, put a pair of vise grips on the line, bled the brake lines and drove home...... Hope y'all's was better than mine

Sorry about your eventful morning! Be glad you're alright....I heard one bird about 7304 yards away and that was it...very little sign on my place right now...hope it gets better when they start busting up a little...

Well, if I didn't have bad luck I guess I wouldn't have any at all. Spent about 8 hours buried in a mud hole today. Didn't even get the gun out if the truck.... Man oh man, this is the most frustrating start to a season I've ever had.

Our birds pitched down & got henned up before we got to them. We were never really in the game. They gobbled for about 15 or 20 minutes as they walked out of our lives. Going to try again on Wednesday. Atoler I hope Your luck improves.
