I'd love to know the number of poachers caught with crossbows. As big and unwieldy as they are, they'd be a real PITA inside a vehicle to shoot, not to mention a bit more dangerous inside a vehicle.
Believe it or not, a guy was killed in Baldwin County last year with a crossbow that discharged from the back seat and came through his chest in the front seat. I think I remember it being determined that he and his pals were night hunting when it occurred, but I could be wrong about that part of it.
