Seeing the Bass Pro Shop thread gave me an idea. To everybody that has Ol' Man climbers and hate them, you can give them to me. I'd hate to see anybody climbing in such a dangerous stand. I'll make that sacrifice to keep everyone safe.

Not free but I have a couple I'll make you a good deal on. Could have delivered this weekend, was in Moundville. Will be in Greensboro Monday week.

They will knock yo butt out if you climb a hard, slick bark tree! LOL I've got an old (mid-90's) Grand Vision....tried to climb a power pole once and it about killed me 5' off the ground! Everybody I hunt with that uses an Ol Man will only climb a pine (or maybe a White Oak w/ soft, shaggy bark). I've been hunting out of an API Grand Slam Shooting Star for years and years, it's heavy as heck, but I've never had a better stand. Never found a better combo of stability on the tree, comfort, and overall "useability". I have found API chains to hold the tree better than Summit cables. Now, having said all that, I'm VERY interested in that new Ol Man Drone....that thing looks nice! Going to check one out before next season. It looks like they're using "teeth" on it, instead of the flat bars (where it touches the tree).

We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

There's only one treestand that my butt will ever sit in, and that's Millenium. By far the most comfortable, easiest and safest stand I've ever had!

The net seat is uncomfortable. That's one of the strong points IMO. I've spent many hours in an Ol' Man, always liked the net seat. Only problem I ever had was put too much weight all to one side, near the back and they'll slip a little. In winter with a bunch of clothes on, the standard Ol' Man seems a little tight.
