Just one for me. Mid 140's gross. HIs net was horrible. His left beam was broken off after the G3. His right side scored right at 90 by itself. He would have been a toad if I could have killed him the first day of the season instead of the last. LOL

No 140"+ bucks. Several in the high 120" to low 130"s with a bow.

In Alabama? Zero.

I've maybe had two on camera. Have a shed of one in the 135-140 range. Have saw a 140" in Georgia bow hunting and one in Florida on the highway.

I have a few under 140" that mean more to me than some I have over 140".

Heck the biggest I ever killed antler wise, 163", was the easiest buck I've ever killed. I overslept, got to my stand after good shooting light, been there less than 10 minutes and he stepped out of a thicket. Had a long drag on flat ground,of 50 yards laugh to the road, heck I could have snaked my Toyota right to him. I had no pics of him, not really any big sign at that spot, just a good pinch point. Other than being the biggest antlered buck I've killed, nothing special. He is on the wall, but not in the prime spot.

I'll turn 40 in May, and I've been hunting since my dad was toting me to the woods.
I killed a 135" nine point on Christmas eve of 1993(gun). That deer wouldn't be so high, but he's 20-3/4" inside.
I killed a 141(gross)eleven point in 2009(gun).
I put a photo on here a few days ago of a 139net/143gross eight point I saw with my bow, and my friend killed him two days later.
I stated in another thread yesterday that I "might" have seen 10 in the last 20 years (and I wouldn't bet my house that all of those were legit 140+ deer). I own my own business and truly get to hunt any time I want to, so I legitimately hunt 3+ days per week all season long, and have for years. I see a LOT of bucks, and I do mean a LOT! I sit on some of these big cutovers and see batchelor groups, see several groups of 4, 5, 6, up to 7 bucks together in early bow season. I do much of my hunting on Pelham Range in Calhoun Co, and lots of folks will tell you that's the best place in half the state to kill a 150"+ deer. It has VERY restricted management and limited pressure, best age and sex structure I've ever seen.
And after all that, I wouldn't bet my life on but 4 of those deer SAFELY being 140". But two of them were NO DOUBT 150+ bucks.

I think the average person really doesn't know how much bone it takes to hit 140. It generally requires a big frame AND lots of mass. The deer below was 156 gross (I watched them score it). Almost everybody who saw it guessed it to be 20" higher than that. If you saw that sucker in the woods, I suspect we'd all unintentionally exaggerate it as well. This buck was killed where I hunt, and didn't really shock anybody.

This is a deer I killed that only scored 124, but most folks thought it was a lot bigger too. Just giving some photographic perspective.

0...Seen 2 while hunting that woulda went over 140".One while bow hunting. He was 50ish yards out and i didnt feel comfortable with the shot.Another one 3 years ago.He was in some thin pines with 6 does bout 300 yards away.Biggest buck i ever saw.If he had been in the wide open i prolly still couldnt have shot him i was shaking so bad.
I did see one on the way back from a lease i had in autauga co one night standing 30 yrds off the road i believe woulda easily hit the 150" mark.He was so big when i passed by him and he just stood there i hit the brakes spun around and grabbed the gun.Jumped out and he trotted off.It was stupid that i even had the thought of shooting him but dammit he was big.Glad he run off before i got a chance to pull the trigger.

1 145 3/8 8 point 2012/13 season. My biggest buck this season may be 140+ haven't scored it yet. It was a 12 and had 3 broken tines, if they were still there, he'd be 140 no problem.
