Nice weather knowledge there Bartman Nah, I'm really just relaying what is written by the 2 sources I trust the most when it comes to weather, the NWS and Mr Spann. But, I do follow it pretty closely on a daily basis.

http://www.alabamawx.com/This morning's event unfolded basically as advertised. After a short intermission, it's about time for the second half. This system will be a little more dynamic in nature and could provide some 8+ inches of additional snow to some parts of the Tennessee Valley. The potential for accumulating snowfall tomorrow exists all the way down to the Bibb, Chilton, Coosa county area. This will start out as rain and transition to snow during the day tomorrow. This is a very similar setup to the Blizzard of 93, and, if you recall, the forecast that day was for 4-6 inches of snow. I'm not saying that will happen again, but these things can ramp up quickly and drop huge amounts of snow in relatively short periods of time. Be prepared for anything, especially in North and Northeast Alabama.
