It is a nice place, I've been down a couple times. Lots of wildlife, amenities are great and the people are better. I have a video somewhere of the last time I was down there somewhere around here. smile

Didn't you kill somewhere around 500 does during bow season? Is that where you killed them?

I think it is more the first year. Like $2,000 the first year and $1,500 after that. But, that doesn't include the lodge. Also the bar and restaurant are of course extra. I want to say it is 19,000 acres. I talked to them a couple of years ago about joining.

Curious, are dues due up front or payment plans?

okay another question, someone like me who is extremely interested in joining a club but will be pinned up unable to perform physical work for a good chunk this year. How would those work days be compiled and fixed?

A lot of clubs have a penalty like $100 per missed work day. But most clubs work days don't start til August or after. You should be recovered by then.

Shaw knows what I'm going to be going through (thanks for the help)

I love doing yard work, mowing, planting, pruning ect I planted a 20k sqft yard two years ago and love it, the rain last summer killed a lot of it so I'm back to square one. I would to go out and fart around cutting, planting ect.

there's a lot of deer down there. dues are $2265.00 a year. first half due in march the second half due in august. it is more the first year because you have to buy a "membership" and then you will have annual dues. if/when you decide to get out you can sell your "membership" to someone and recoup your "membership" money. we have a nice lodge, restaurant (during deer season only), bunkhouse, camper spaces, skinning shed, walk in cooler, 3D archery range, rifle range, skeet towers, fishing lakes, etc. it is a year around club with plenty to do.

i have let plenty of bucks/does walk this past season. as with any where you hunt as long as you dont mind putting in the time and effort you will see deer.

you are asked to work 1 work weekend. i worked 3 of the 4. i was already going to be down there anyway so why not. me and mmusso done a lot of work/ cleaning up on our own throughout the summer. it is a lot of fun down there and i've made a lot of friends my first year there.

if you have any question feel free to ask or PM me.
