Can't believe this made it to 5 pages popcorn

Buck was killed on 900 acres. First buck I've shot with a rifle since 2009. Killed him because of his age and the fact that I just wanted to shoot him. Actually got excited before I pulled the trigger. 201 paces from the old ladder stand and he was DRT. We try to only shoot mature bucks. Pic of that other 6 point was a guest mistake on a friends place.

You can manage small tracks of land. 1. Don't overhung it and 2. Don't shoot anything smaller than what you have shot before. The deer I shot last week was on a 40 acre parcel I have to hunt, no noe can hunt the surrounding land at all. This is the first deer I have shot on that parcel in 3 yrs. usually see 10-15 per day, you just have to set your goals high and stick with them.

It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.

The 6 looks no older than 2 1-2. Judging from that pic. Is this property in Tuscaloosa? If not, what county?

Ttown what kind of satisfaction did you get out this troll. Just curious, doesn't seem fun to me. But who knows with you bamers they must have run out of bubble wrap in Tuscaloosa.

Well played T-town! It's simply amazing how gullible some people are.

I am managing 15 acres and I can't seem to change the buck genetics! I'm calling Brian Murphy and see what he says.

You just need to kill all the does you can and eliminate unwanted antler characteristics from the herd by smoking the undesirables before they get old enough to pollute your gene pool
